but Mary, I won’t let it ruin my trip! I am right back on track!

Yesterday we went to a Memorial Service for my Aunt Dorothy who passed away on Monday! She was a wonderful woman that I loved dearly!

We had a get together after the service and of course more food than you can imagine. I took a veggie tray and I vowed I would be good and just have a little of spoon of all the bad carbs loaded foods I try to avoid. Well I did well until it came to my nieces scalloped corn. I had to big spoonfulls! I had also had a small piece of pumpkin cake that my Aunt Dorothy’s grandson made from her recipe. I didn’t beat myself up or anything, but I did feel pretty lousy not sticking with my plan, so today I am right back on track with my eating!
