I had my grandson from Friday until yesterday afternoon and his 4 year old sister came when he left………I guess this is my reward for being a doting grandma! I love my grankids and I can never say NO! (well hardly ever)!

Well yesterday I baked my husband a beautiful cake! It was one of his favorites, one of mine too! It was beautiful (if I do say so myself) I don’t bake his favorites much lately! Well any ways I put it in my glass cake dome and had it setting on the freezer! I was making dinner and as I walked pass the freezer it crashed on the floor! Thank goodness my granddaughter or the dog was not right behind me like usual. They both think they need to be with me every minute. I swept and mopped about 5 times so hopefully I got all that glass, it shattered like you would not believe! Yea, I was going to eat some too! I guess from now on I make something I don’t like!

Oh man that sucks. I am so glad no one got hurt, well… except the cake.
You’re a good grandma, if I read my mother’s grandparent handbook correctly, you’re not supposed to say no.
Maybe the diet gods were trying to tell you something???
And Erika’s right! You’re never supposed to say no to your grandchildren!!! When we’re lucky enough to be with ours, we spoil them rotten!! That’s another grandparents rule!

I bet the cake was beautiful! I made one too yesterday but for my dh to take to work for a co-workers birthday.
