Yesterday was a great Mothers Day! Hubby was so thoughtful, he bought me a big pot of flowers for the porch, and some new comfy sandals along with a beautiful card. I always do the shopping for our mothers and this year he did it because I was so busy with training for new job. He bought them beautiful cards, but did not know what to get them so he got them gift cards from Wal-Mart. I was impressed because he has never done the Mothers Day shopping before.

I was suppose to work from 3-10 last night. I was at work about 1 1/2 hrs. when the phone rings, it was a co-worker (he is also a former teacher of my youngest son). He asks me “how would you like the rest of Mothers Day off? ” I said “Is this a joke?” He told me no that he had allready visited his mom, mowed his lawn and now had nothing to do, so he thought maybe I would like the rest of the day off after my stressfull training week. He called the boss who said it was okay and he came in. I spent the rest of the day with hubby doing not much but a little bit of shopping.

I am off to work shortly so I will try to catch up on my blogs later.

I hope you all had a wonderful Mothers Day!

Have a super day!
What a nice guy, to cover for you on Mother’s Day, and kudos to hubby for doing the shopping.
Ethan put together a picture album for my mother, starting with baby pictures of me and ending with ones of Jarod and Logan. I had no idea he was doing that, he made me one too.
I’m glad you had a nice day Bette Jo, you deserve it.
That was nice of your co-worker.
Glad you had a great weekend.
Glad to hear your mother’s dayd and weekend went great. That was so nice of your co-worker and thoughtful. And you have a super day yourself
