My pitty party is over!!
Okay so things weren’t going so hot! I haven’t lost anything in 2 weeks. I binged and what did I think that was going to do! It surely wasn’t going to help me lose anything! It just made me feel like crap! Just like Marge told me I know the path to take! Something else got me to thinking (thank you Jane!) my grandkids! My daughter in law told me yesterday something my 4 year old grandaughter told her. She told her that she didn’t want to eat junk food anymore because her NaNa didn’t eat junk food!! I am setting a good example for my grandaughter(even more than I realized)! Last night I went into base and the boss asked me how much weight I have lost and when I told him he told me that was amazing! I told him I was getting a little discouraged because I had hit a plateu two weeks in a row, and he told me don’t give up he had done that before and his plateu lasted 6 weeks! I hope that does not happen to me, but if it does I will not give up and I will stop sabatoging myself! I am so thankful for my awesome buddies that stick with me even when I get on a pitty party kick!!
I hope you are all having a wonderful day!!

You’ve lost 70 lbs. in one year THAT’S GREAT!! I only lost around 40 in the last year and a half. But more than the number on the scale I go by how my clothes are getting looser. I go sometimes 1 whole month or longer before even a 3 lbs drop shows but I know as long as I keep up what I’m doing and working out it will all be okay. It’s great your influencing your grandchildren.
I was watching The Biggest Loser this past Tuesday and each participant was left alone in the kitchen for 4 minutes with all sorts of “junk” it was their choice to eat or not. Well, long 2 hour story short, the one guy on the red team tells Kim, the trainer, that he though about eating some of the “junk” but she showed up on his shoulder and was “don’t eat that overly processed garbage, etc.” so perhaps next time you get an urge to binge your Buddies will show up on your shoulders and steer you right. I also keep motivating pictures (Jackie Warner from Workout) on my frige. I just look at those and think if I want a body like that will eating this really help get me there?
Have a great day!!

You know sometimes a little pity party isn’t a bad thing.
Sometimes we just need to feel whatever it is that we are feeling….most of the time the binging is nothing more than a distraction from what we don’t want to feel.
Then there is the time when we need to stand back up, and carry on.
Don’t beat yourself up ok?
