Love, Hate Relationship………

Yes, I am having a love, hate relationship! It is with my scales! I cannot stay off the things! I keep telling myself that I am going to have my hubby hide them, but I don’t do it! I weigh myself every morning and every night! I get so pysched when it shows a loss it motivates, me but makes me feel down when it shows a gain or maintain! Right now I am so pysched because it looks like a loss of 3 lbs. so far this week, but alas who knows what tomorrow will bring. I do not officiall weigh in until Saturday!

Mmmmmmmmm I had a great spaggetti dinner tonight with my spaggetti squash! I froze the extra so I am prepared for the next spaggetti night! I need to buy some more so I can have it on hand when it is no longer in season!

I am not quite as stressed out as I have been, but still feeling a little down. Hubby doesn’t understand why I can’t just let it go now! This is a problem I have always had, I have a hard time letting go of hurt feelings! I feel betrayed and hurt for something I felt was doing something good!

Well it is off to get some things done, before the Biggest Loser comes on! I love that show!

    I hate scales, for the very reason you have mentioned. I will let it spoil my day! I know the hurt you are feeling, but some of us are just that way. And some people will prey on our hurt….sometimes even “friends”. Hang in there. There are trouble makers everywhere. I should say “former friends” because I stay ticked off. I never really trust those people again even though I may deal with them. Take care, Marge

    Hiding them doesn’t work. My dh hid them because i asked him to and I searched for them until I found them. How sick is that?

    I am addicted to weighing often also. I know it’s not good and I know I shouldn’t,but it is like my addiction to food…I hear them calling my name. (Maybe I am just schizo?)

    I would love your spaghetti squash recipe.

    I really hate the scales too…..ahh but what can we do. Can’t live with em, can’t live without em! I just weigh one time in the mornings. First thing and then that is it. If I weigh before bed, I will go insane! I too sometimes have a hard time letting go of “hurt feelings” but once you do, you feel alot better. I hope you can do that soon.     I am addicted to the scale too. If I see it go up a little I work harder that day or eat less. I hate it but I can’t stop weighing every time I pass by the scale. Glad to hear you are feeling less stressed lately. Hang in there you can do this.

    That’s great on the weight loss but try not to worry about the scale so much because the inches fall off too! I notice that you are up early too; good for you!

    I’m only supposed to weigh the first Monday of every month but of course I do it more often. I absolutely love sphaghetti squash. I love any kind of squash. You say you froze some. Was that mixed with sauce already? How well does it freeze? I would love to batch cook some and have lunches pre-made. I just started watching the Biggest Loser this season after watching old ones on other various channels. I now have my DVR set to record it every week as I’m not always home 8 and with hockey started we watch at 2 to 3 different games a night with hockey package so I watch the Biggest Loser on Saturday mornings while I eat breakfast. I have to catch up on blogs and start blogging more myself.
