Quiet Sunday ……..
I am having a quiet Sunday! Hubby is off to work! We had a nice quiet day yesterday together without the grandkids! For those of you who don’t know me to well, this does not happen often! As a matter of fact, next weekend I am taking my 4 yr. old grandaughter and her 2 yr. old sister! Oh, my what have I done! LOL!!
Last night was a Halloween party at my nieces! OOOOPS! Now this brings up the fact of mindless eating! I had eaten a piece of candy and was about ready to stick my hand back in the bowl for another, and my sweet daughter in law pulled it away! She just looked me in the eye and gave me a smile and said, Mom I am just looking out for you! It was like a kick in the butt! I am glad that my family is there for the support when I do dumb things like that!
Today I am hauling out my closet again! My sister-in-law who I was so worried about (she is a diabetic and really having a lot of health problems) has been on her own weight loss journey and doing amazing, is going to get my old stuff! She has lost 25 lbs. herself now! She is now into the size I just shrunk out of! I am so glad that she is doing so well with her journey and reaping the benefits of turning her health problems around!
Well I am off to finish my closet!

I went all through the party and just drank diet soda (the new Sierra Mist w Cranberry, which is GREAT if you drink diet soda). And then after everyone went home I actually got up at midnite and pigged out.
Oh well. Today is a new day.
Glad you got in some time with the grankids, thats always fun….and we are just starting the eating pitfall months….grrr here we go! Send you DIL to follow me around, that might help me! LOL
Well I got my closet cleaned out, now to put everything back together! I had two bags of clothes for my sister-in-law and she calls me and says she was wrong about her size, she is wearing the same size as me now! What an incentive to get my butt in gear! So I just went and posted the clothes on FreeCycle! Well I better get my room put back together! It looks like a hurricane struck it, but first I am taking a break and checking some blogs!

You are right. Now you have to get in gear. Don’t want her passing you. Don’t you just love new incentives to work harder?
I can’t wait to get grandkids. We are empty-nesters right now and don’t get me wrong, we love every minute of it. However, I love little kids especially when they are below six and think you are just wonderful and all is right with the world. There is nothing better.

Hey stranger…LOL!!! Its been a while since I’ve been on. Sounds like you are doing incredible as usual!!!! I’m so proud of you….YOU ROCK!!! and its nice you can share your clothes with your sister in law…so sorry to hear of her health problems.
Glad someone in your family is lookig out for you. Mine, they would just say “it’s Halloween go ahead, enjoy yourself”. I love having both of the grandkids at the same time (4 yr old boy and 3 yr old girl. Now that they are both talking so much better with the therapy they’ve been getting they are a trip to have around. Lucky for me it’s only once in a while as weekends are my house cleaing days so I need at least a week’s notice before I take them. I enjoy every mintue with them because they grow up so fast. I used to have my goddaugther everyother weekend during Indoor Lacrosse season since she was a baby. The last few years (she’ll be 13 in Nov) she has no interest in coming to her aunt’s.
