I am choosing all of my buddies…….
I had to make a decision. I can’t afford to join Curves and get satelite internet. I am so sick of my dial up. Whenever I get a lot of rain it messes with my dial up. Either I can’t get on at all or if I do I can’t blog. I need my buddies! Everyone here offers me so much support, motivation and inspiration. I would not have come as far as I have without all of you.
Well the picnic on Friday went okay. Even dealing with comments like What are you to good to eat the meat here? I just said no it is not that, I don’t eat much beef and this is better for me. Oh well that is their problem not mine.
Yesterday I did 32 min. of excercise. I have been trying to find something that I will be able to fit into my schedule when I go back to work. It so happens I had a DVD that is broken up into 5 ……8 min. segments. It is Core workouts, ABS, ARMS, THIGHS, BUNS, and STRETCH. The whole DVD would be 40 min. but I just could not do most of the BUNS (I guess until I can accomplish these I will just have to have saggy buns)! I did 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. I know I can find time to do it this way. I will be able to do at least 16 min. before going to work and do the rest when I get home. My summer schedule I am home around 1:30 so I have plenty of time before hubby gets home. I still don’t do my excercises in front of him.
Well I am off to check the forums, journal my food and check a few blogs before I excercise. I hope my connection will hold out until then.

Why don’t you and hubby take an evening walk together? You can exercise and talk at the same time. Just a thought. Have a great day and keep it up.
so glad you chose us over curves, thanks. A good DVD I found is Biggest loser power sculpt. I always find when I buy an exercise video I am not fit enough to do the exercises and watching these skinny girls who never had a fat day in their lives do what I cant just depresses me. Anyway this video is not like that, they are overwieght men and women just like us and the workout is do able for unfit people yet the next day the soreness lets you know it is working. Give it a try if you can find the time.

Love the way you’ve found to fit exercise in. I don’t have the stamina I once did, so I also break my exercising up into shorter times. It works!!! whatever works for you Bette Jo!!
I’m proud of you for standing firm in your eating at the picnic. Some people just have NO CLASS…and they just don’t understand the struggles we go through…but you DID IT!!! One more obstacle you got through. Love ya!!!
Yes! Good job and great attitude at the picnic. Sometimes we just have to do our own thing to take care of yourselves. I am so proud of you! So glad your not dropping us -we need you here too! I have read time and time again-it dont matter how many segments you break exercise up in-it all counts! I am glad you found something you can work with!

What a great way to take care of yourself. You did some awesome problem solving. It is amazing what you can move out of the way when you put yourself first. Way to go!
