Take this job and shove it…….

No, I didn’t do it, but I wanted too! I am so sick of the company I work for. It is hard to because hubby works for the same company only he is management! I am just a pee on bus monitor! They had a big get together with the new company that bought out our company today! Get this one, they uninvited the monitors! OH, Yea, was I pissed! Yea, had to save some money I guess, and it sure isn’t for raises! They had lunch and they learned about the new GPS system for the vehicles and played games had prizes like gift certificates! They wonder why I get upset with crap in that place……hmmmmmmmm! If it weren’t for us bus monitors the drivers job would be harder! I would love to see how the drivers would handle driving while attending the needs of special needs preschoolers! I should be happy though hubby brought me home a free pen! Yippee!! Boy do I feel better getting this off my chest! I stuck to plan today and what I really wanted to say was screw it! Grrrrrr!

I hope everyone is having a great week!

Big HUGS!

How very annoying…that’s putting it mildly. John and I both worked for the same retirement community.. I was his superior (in so many ways!) Just kidding. I was the assistant manager and her was the maintenance supervisor. We got along well at work, loved sharing our experiences of our days every evening, in fact that’s where we met and married, and had our reception…. but when the company was bought out we were BOTH out of a job. It was such a big part of our lives we were lost. Pretty much had to live married life on a whole different level. I missed being at work with hime and talking at night about our day. We actually had to re-invent our marriage.

But…. there were those times when management went to seminars, retreats, and fun trips and I know he felt left out. That was a big drawback. He was always supportive and happy for me, that I got the ‘perks’, but I knew he was feeling left out and it did take the joy out of it for me. I think all spouses should have been (and should be) included in the ‘little extras’. It puts a strain on your marriage. I hope venting here helps. ;)

Oh wow..that does suck!! I think the “new” companies tend to forget who holds things together. I would hate to see them lose good employees because they cannot removed their head from their……well you know whats. ;)

Hang in there hun! Maybe after they get acquainted with everyone & everything, they will realize the folly of their ways.

Oh my. I love this blog. I know you’re pissed as hell but your “tone” is too funny. I can only imagine you growling and ready to say “take this job and shove it’ in the literal sense.
Man if we knew each other in person, we would hang out and have a blast.
So your hub brought you home a pen? He is so lucky you didn’t stab him with it. Hang in there sister.
