On with the journey…..

I have had a lot of set backs lately! I am and will always be an emotional eater! I just need to have other options available when this happens! I know what is going to happen this is what made me fat to begin with!

I read other buddies blogs and how they go for a walk or do some other excercise! I have a hard time doing this, but I am going to give it a shot! They say 90 % of the battle with excercise is getting it started and once you start you will continue!

Saturday I went to a casino with my older sisters and a neice and her friend. We had a good time even though none of us won anything! It was something different! Yesterday was spent at home getting some much needed housework done!

I also spent some time on the computer, I caught Kimmi online at Facebook a couple times and we had a nice chat. It was really nice getting to know her a little better.

Well I better go finish getting ready for work.

I hope you all have a super day!

Big HUGS!

This reminds me of my blog, emotional girl. Its not easy or even the best thing to be an emotional girl as we pay the price for it. However, you stick to your guns girl and keep looking for that one thing that you can turn to when things get rough or just emotional.
You have come so far, and I wonder how in the world you did it (and others). To lose that much weight is just amazing.
Smiles, facebook–man, everyone is on it and i’ve never even looked at it. Do you play with the farms like Kimmi? lol

Bette Jo, I remember reading some thing once about getting started on an exercise; if you can make it for the first 10 minutes chances are you will go longer. Try it for 10 minutes at first!

I read the same thing recently, set a 10 min time and then you usually go longer.
The emotional eating was my biggest problem too. I am starting to over come it, so can you. Every little thing I went to food, I am much better now. I am not saying that I am 100% cured but I would say that over 95% of the time food is not my first thought, I have worked very hard on this one in the past 8 months. It takes a focused effort. I ALWAYS ask myself when I am stressed, or upset, what would it accomplish by eating this food. The answer ususally is nothing so I find something else to do.
My problem now is I am so afraid of eating emotionally that there are times I under eat because I don’t want to get started.
